priorities...what's more important

America is so concerned with abortion rights, confederate flag and the presidential candidates more so about the homeless and where we rank as country in education. Where are the priorties...what's more important?  My grandmother use to tell me I had to eat all of ky food because there are starving people in Africa.  Now today I tell kids to eat their food because there are starving people in America.
